Biography
Sharon Wandel was elected to the National Academy of Design in 1994. She is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and University Graduate School. She attended the Art Students League in New York City and participated in many exhibitions, winning numerous national and international awards for sculpture. She has many interests, has loved traveling–often with her daughters–and has recently enjoyed creating conceptual books for children. (Books include Try It, IF…What Would You Do?, What the Snowman Thinks, How Many Ways Can You…?, Poetree, rhymes and sketches, and Twinkling Ripples.
