Marjorie Portnow, Looking South one Rt 1, towards Torrey Pines, San Diego, CA

Statement

I am mostly a plein air painter and mostly paint on site trying to capture a sense of place. I am interested in the perception of nature, the nature of perception, and the nature of art. Although the scale is often small, the spaces are often vast and panoramic.
