Butterflies and flowers seem as close as we come to miracles in our everyday lives. I paint mine while listening to Mozart sonatas.

Biography
Kaish earned his BFA at Syracuse University, continued his studies at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, Paris; Istituto d'Arte, Florence; Accademia di Belle Ari, Rome. Professor Emeritus, School of Art and Design, FIT/SUNY. Artist-in-Residence Dartmouth College; Haifa University, Israel. Served on the faculties of the National Academy of Design, Art Students League, New School. Visiting Artist at Boston University, Columbia University, Queens College, Philadelphia College of Art, School of Visual Arts, Tyler School of Art, Susquehanna University. Honored with the Artist Fellowship Benjamin Kleindienst Medal, Syracuse University Award for Achievement in the Arts. Elected to the National Academy of Design in 1989, received their Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011.
